Tips and tricks to study

So are you having problems academically? Here's a few tips hoping to help!

1) do a checklist
Write down all the things that you want to finish doing by the end of the day, and as you've completed it, cross it out! The sense of accomplishment upon crossing out everything asap should be able to keep you going!

2) know yourself
If you're the type that needs to study in a group, go ahead! Text some friends and ask them out w you! If you're the type that needs those examination environment, head to the library or somewhere quiet to study alone.
(Choose the right type of friends though, they might end up turning into a distraction)

3) teach others
Well personally, this definitely works. As I teach others, I end up recapping to teach my friends so its like, a constant form of revision. If the questions asked by your friends are the ones that you can't answer, ask the teachers for help. That way, you'll learn more than what you would have learned if you just on your own and not exposed to other questions.

4) have time management and discipline
These definitely goes hand in hand. Plan your daily schedule and follow it. Be it 5hours or studying and a 1hour break in between or a study every 2hours for 30mins break, plan it yourself and follow it strictly.
(There's no point wasting time to plan but ditching your planner aside its like, then why did you bother to plan in the first place?)

5) consistency
If you're the kind that studies last minute and do well, you can stop reading already! For the rest, when I said consistency, I meant throughout the year or something alone the line. Revise asap whatever your teachers taught throughout the day, if there are any doubts, pester them the very next day. This really helps. Well for me, I'll usually just ask in class if I'm confused, and revise the topics all at once at the end of the week. If I don't know what I'm doing, that's when I'll ask for help! It is very important to revise asap as your brains are fresh from what your teachers had just tried to convey. Inevitably, if you're doing all the revision only 1week before your examinations come knocking on your door, congratulations because the probability of you panicking and getting nothing done is extremely high.
(actually come to think of it, my face will literally show that I'm confused so not often do I have to ask since my teachers will save my ass immediately after they have noticed that I'm confused)

Hoping these help and if you have anymore questions, advices or anything you would like me to blog about next, DM me on Instagram!
