5tips for students w examinations

Well I won't deny that there are actually many tips but here are five that I always encourage people around me to use.

1) DON'T EAT TOO MUCH
This is not for everyone but only to those that find themselves sleeping or dozing off during the lessons particularly after recessa countless time. Congratulations, I think you have "food-coma" I don't actually regard it as a symptom but to the people around me, food coma means that you will end up sleeping almost immediately after eating. If you already know for a fact that you are one of those that sleeps uncontrollably after eating too much, refrain from having a hearty breakfast directly before your papers. Option for a meal afterwards or a light breakfast before your papers if you don't want to end up sleeping on your cozy table in the silent examination hall.
Additionally, if you know that you will have to do big business soon after eating, then don't eat too much because you'll end up in the stuffy cubicle panicking instead of attempting your examination papers.

2) DRINK PLAIN WATER ONLY
I'm not even kidding a majority will be able to relate to this. I don't know about you, but I'm that type that consumes a tremendous amount of water. I tend to choose sweet drinks over plain water regularly but I don't have any side effects after that. Many of my friends, however ends up having a sugar rush and feel extra lethargic afterwards. Hence admitting defeat and sleep in the battlefield. (Yes to me examinations are where I fight, well mentally since it is where I end up squeezing every ounce of my brain juice)
Moreover, drinking too much sweet drinks increase the probability of you wanting to use the washroom during your papers, hence minimizing the consumption rate of water will be desirable.

3) BRING YOUR MOTIVATOR
(No please do not bring your boyfriend or girlfriend or idol physically.) Let's be honest here. I don't study for myself. I know it's not right to be studying for some other reasons other than the bright future everyone told me I will have if I do well academically. I bring a photo of that particular someone that will be able to motivate me to press on even if I'm already on the verge to giving up. To me, no doubt will it help me to continue the paper even if it's hard and literally unmanageable.

4) DON'T GET OVERLY COMFORTABLE
Oh dear, sit up straight. Why? Well why not unless you want your face to end up kissing your table as you fall asleep because of how tired you really are. Don't lean on your arm or have your head touching the table. It feels really good to sleep in the examination hall especially when its so silent and the fans are doing a good job in keeping you cool. I don't know if this happens to everyone, but I will definitely doze of if I lean against the table because the papers that I'm attempting are mundane.

5) DON'T ONLY DO LAST MINUTE REVISIONS
Well a number of you may be able to ace a paper purely by having last minute revisions but honestly, it's not an ideal option.
You might end up praying to the bell curve god because of the higher risk of blanking out in the end. Instead of risking it, revise bit by bit. Maybe not daily but at least a couple of times each week so that you will be able to familiarise all the topics tested.

Alright I'm done here, hope this helps and all the best for all your examinations :)
