What is Glaze + laser facial?

I was given a chance to check out their Glaze + laser facial which addresses different skin concerns such as wrinkles, open pores, acne, pigmentation utilizing latest laser technology. 

So… how does it work?

The laser beams penetrate down to the dermis layer of your skin without damaging the upper layer. When the light energy is absorbed in your skin, a few positive effects will happen to your skin:

• Light energy stimulates collagen production. Collagen is crucial for maintaining youthful skin because it enhances firmness of the skin, therefore, Glaze + is helpful for problems like fine lines, wrinkles and gives you a radiant look.
• Pigment cells in your skin absorb the light energy, which is converted into heat. The heat destroys the unwanted pigment. As a result, this is also an effective treatment for pigmentation.

Benefits for Glaze+ Laser Face Treatment:

I felt that it rejuvenated my skin, lighten my pigmentation issues, closed my pores and it's honestly damn cool because when they did the right side of my face and allowed me to compare the different sides with a mirror, I was extremely shocked to see that the skin on my right side is brighter than the left and the pores on the right side of my face is smaller than my left!

I was told that Glaze + laser face treatment also helps stimulate collagen production, has no downtime and improves wrinkles & fine lines problems. (which I don’t think I have cause I’m only 20)

FYI: it was painless! I nearly fell asleep >.<

Personal experience:

I arrived early for my appointment, was greeted and served with a cup of tea after the registration stage. during the consultation stage, I was fed with a lot of good tips and advice. I chose the Glaze + Laser Face Treatment which will help to minimize my pores.

During the treatment, the person started off by double cleansing my face.

Next, she spread rose essence on my face to help rejuvenate my skin.

The next step was soon followed by the laser treatment which was PAINLESS. They have good preventive measures to ensure that my eyes will not be hurt by the light. They also ensured that the amount of gel is enough so that my skin does not start burning! The person actually asked if is it too hot or not so that I will not be feeling any sort of discomfort.

This process was really quick and honestly I nearly fell asleep.

After doing the right side of my face, the person passed me a mirror and I was overly shocked to see the drastic changes with my right side of the face brighter than the left as well as the size of the pores on the right side being smaller than the ones on the left side.

I was soon given another layer of rose essence right after the gel was removed when the left side of my face was done. It was followed up by a generous layer of moisturizer as well as sunblock to ensure that my skin does not feel dry and instead rejuvenated.

Here is the photo of my before and after. As you can see, my skin tone is brighter after the treatment and my pores although still pretty large, it is way smaller than before the treatment! I'm honestly really reluctant to show my bare face online as my skin condition has never deteriorated so drastically ever since I finished puberty 5 years ago but I know it's worth it as I really think we should share good things isn't it?

PS. Unlike other shops that purposely did things to make the photos look better, this shop did not purposely turn on brightness or edit the photos. I have the photos taken with my phone and their iPad before and after the treatment so there wasn’t any editing done because I was even given a chance to look at the difference when half my face was done with the use of a mirror to see the difference. bad review/experience by Tokyo Bust Express

OMG. Tokyo Bust Express. Isn’t it supposed to be all about women body empowerment now that we are no longer in the 90s? HELL NO. 

I was told by all the bra shop owners that i am a B cup whenever i walked in to buy new bras. And it fits perfectly, not too tight or too loose.
When i went to tokyo bust express to try out their treatment for fun even though i did not feel that my breasts are too small because according to the world record, Singapore’s female breast size is an average of A-. don't believe? Google it.

The consultants at Tokyo bust express had the audacity to tell me that I am an A- and that I need treatment right away. They then signed me up for the most expensive package and told me to pass them my mastercard. I was like huh? I haven’t even agree to sign up for it…??

Then before the treatment, they made me take off my top and touched my breast without asking if I was ok with it. After that, they took photos without asking if I was ok with it. Then they told me to stand facing the wall and put a paper there to draw on the paper as my breasts were against the paper.

Take note of this part: they drew in such a way to make me believe my breasts were sagging by drawing a bit lower and they make it look like my breasts were pointing outwards by drawing it on the outer edges of my breasts.

During the consultation it was 100% hard selling yet during the treatment, it was like a 500% hard selling. If you think you can fall asleep and enjoy the process, don't be a fool, you can’t. They blabber nonstop and ask you to borrow money from others even if you are just a student and you are not from a well to do family. Remember how jonsonn protein told me nearly the same thing in the previous blog? This is even worse. The person told me my boyfriend will leave me once another lady with larger breasts approaches him. They say that having larger breasts is important for my boyfriend even after i said that i was single and that i am a virgin. They told me my body looks good but my breasts are smaller than my stomach and if you have been following me on my social media account or seen me in real life, that is not even half true! They told me to work 3 jobs because at that point of time i only have 2 jobs and that is because i am still studying and i have to support myself financially. They told me no one will love me because of how small my breasts are and that I really need to buy the packages. They said I can pay by installment and sell my watch just because I was wearing a Daniel Wellington watch. Its absolutely crazy I know! They said many more things which i have recorded using my phone via the audio app just because i saw online that there are many bad reviews of the shop and when i showed them the blogs they said those were written years ago and that the service has improved ever since. some of the blogs have been taken down due to some personal issues i'm not so sure what happened but here's my conversation with one of the consultants. what happened was that in 2018 i went there and received bad treatment and i was forced by them to pay a sum of money to book a package. then in 2019 i went back because i want to see if there are an differences as compared to 2018. the blogs were still active. here's what the lady said when i asked her about it.

i sent her links to a few of the blogs that i read. she then told me that the service had improved. after i went back in 2019 because my experience in 2018 totally sucks, guess what? IT SUCKS TOO. They were still trying to hard sell me even though i requested not to.

by the way, in both treatments, the same things happened.

during the consultation period they will draw on the paper to make it look like your breasts are sagging and that it is pointing outwards, they then take photos without flashlight using their camera without your permission. during the treatment they will massage your breasts and hard sell non stop by blabbering on and on saying things like you need to borrow money to fix your breast before your boyfriend leaves you and you die alone being a virgin and have no husband or kids. after the treatment, they will draw on the paper a little higher to show that your breasts went up a little and draw it a bit more inwards to show that your breasts went to point towards the middle instead of outwards. they will then turn on flashlight while taking photos and say that the skin is brighter and then they will compare the photos and tell you that your breasts looks more fuller and are prettier. then they try to hard sell you again.

the good reviews are actually the consultants asking people to pay a lesser sum of money in exchange of giving their reviews hence having more good reviews than bad online. if i'm not wrong, they will probably try to sue me or something for trying to ruin their reputation but i'm just here to share my genuine experience and to warn the other ladies out there so... this is probably going to be taken down soon/ please keep a few screenshots as evidence and upload it everywhere.

Please note that i wrote this quite awhile back and now i have come to realise that they are basically doing the same thing as new york skin solution, jonsonn protein, dorra slimming and many more. Its quite smart actually. All they have to do is post about some free giveaway, potential customers get curious and try to join. 

All of them will be contacted and told to come down to try a trial session and have a free consultation. The moment you show up, the game officially begins. They will try their best to convince you that youre physically not attractive enough and despite what your loved ones have been telling you, the majority of you will succumb to your insecurities and seriously start to consider the treatments. 

Ps, the treatments are ok if you are willing to go regularly because the moment you stop attending, the effects are gone since the results after each treatment is not permanent.

My bad Jonssonprotein review as of 2019

I went to jonsson protein for a scalp treatment.  During the consultation stage, they tend to purposely choose the worst spots of your scalp before treating your hair to show you how bad your scalp is and they will delete the photos if they accidentally take a good spot before the treatment. I was sitting right in front of them, watching them delete and retaking photos while hunting for the bad spots of my scalp.

During the treatment, they would try their best to go on and on talking about their different packages and would tell you how bad your scalp is and that you have to get money for treatment even if you are 19. They will say things like borrow money from your parents or even your boyfriend as he might leave you if your hair is not pretty in the long run. I was extremely insulted when they say that even after telling them that i did not grow up from a rich family. 

After the treatment, they started taking photos of my scalp again but this time round, they would delete the photos if they accidentally took a bad spot of my scalp and they will look for the good spots and to be honest, i was sitting right in front of them, watching them delete and retaking photos while hunting for the good spots. Afterwards, they will show you the photos of before and after the treatment and ask you to look at the difference between the before and after.. Like hello I can literally see that you deleted the photos of the good spots of my scalp to show me the bad parts before the treatment and to delete the photos of the bad spots that were accidentally taken to show me the good spots of my scalp after the treatment. Scam much? I think so!

If you were to show them this blog, they would tell you that it was written a really long time ago and that they have improved. Trust me, they haven't. I went there expecting a good relaxing treatment to help my dry hair, but i went home wondering why i was feeling humiliated and was trying so hard to resist being forced to find money for more sessions just so that my boyfriend will not leave me. Isn’t that unethical? Like why are the consultants constantly persuading me to get more sessions even after me telling them that I have to pay for my own phone bills and transportation fees as well as the meals for my food. They told me to eat less to save up. Hello? At that point of time I was eating maggie almost everyday. 

Patronize them at your own risk.
