Hey peeps! I've been to more than 30 food tasting events but this is so special as its the first cafe that I've went for food tasting at! Instead of bringing @nicholaslgl, I bought my boyfriend because he loves waffles. 🤪🥰

The first dish that we tried is this Smoked Salmon & Egg Grilled Waffle Sandwich 🧇

Their best selling grilled waffle sandwich is beautifully constructed with savoury smoked salmon and egg mayo as well as melted mozzarella cheese of course. It's like a sandwich between crispy, grilled buttermilk waffles. They gave us an option to drizzle natural honey to add a sweet touch to this savoury dish.

Honestly this is the best waffles I've tried and i would give it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐! If yall don't believe me please head over to their location and give it a try.

The second dish that we tried is this Granchio Pasta (Crab pasta) 🍝

This dish certainly lives up to its name. The Granchio (Italian for crab) pasta is served with generous amount of fresh real crab meat, a dash of white wine, and bathed in savoury tomato cream. Served with al dente linguine, this dish is light and palatable, perfect for kids or picky eaters!

You know how when you eat pasta for too long, it feels very boring and makes you feel like you don't want it anymore? This dish is so well balanced that I did not feel that way although I'm the kind that eats half a bowl of bolognese pasta in saizeriya and say I don't want already but proceeds to buy some other food 🤤

I'll give it a ⭐⭐⭐⭐ since the first dish is a 5 already so that yall will know which is better in my opinion!

The third is the Slimming Potion and Forage Signature. 

The forage signature includes Multifloral Honey, Citrus Jasmine Tea, Yuzu Blossom Jelly and Passionfruit Burst.

It is definitely a must-try drink! The carefully curated harmony of ingredients in the Forage Signature makes this drink extremely popular. Refreshing citrus jasmine tea mixed with TFC’s special multi-floral honey, with zesty yuzu blossom jelly chunks and passionfruit burst pearls, this drink is flavourful and perfect in Singapore’s hot weather!

My favourite part of this drink is definitely how it feels so refreshing and also, I love the passionfruit burst 😋.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for rating!!

The slimming potion is not as eyeopening to me compared to the forage signature. However, it is really fun as i got to add components into the drink and give it a good stir before trying it. It tastes rejuvenating and i cant wait for yall to see the video where i got to mix it!!

O MAI GOSH this is the best cheesecake I have ever had in my life. This is the forage cheesecake.

13Honey Multifloral Honey, Cream Cheese, Digestive Biscuits

Indulge in their signature Forage Cheesecake. They infused 13Honey Multi-floral honey into the cream cheese. A perfect blend of honey into the thick cream cheese giving it a light texture. The au naturale sweetness makes this a less guilty treat for cheesecake lovers!

It is like eating food that dropped from heaven. I dont know how to express my feeling about it but I think every single human should try it once in their lifetime otherwise its gon be hella sad.🥺😢

You know how they say "for the freshest water, get it from the mountains"? This cake is "for the best cheesecake, go forage cafe NOW" I mean maybe yall might think I'm biased but after I have been to so many food tastings, this is the first that I cant stop talking about to the point where I am writing a blog and making igtv so just trust my picky eater ass and go try it, otherwise its your loss.

A definite ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐, wanna give it more than 5 but I dont wanna confuse yall.

Ok la I'm done fangirling, by the time I finished all the food I was too full for this. Also im not a fan of cream so no matter how pretty this tart was, I was not intrigued. Its photogenic though and I love the caramel. ⭐⭐ because I was too full to appreciate it 😢

Was invited to @jstudiobeautycare for a Hovita Brightening Facial!

When I arrived, I was greeted w really friendly service and the whole place looks elegant and classy!

They have plenty of options for people that would like to get their nails done.

These are the products used on me. The facial I tried is known as Hovita Brightening Facial. Hovita Brightening Facial helped to improve my skin overall complexion allowing my skin to look healthier and more vibrant.

It contains powerful antioxidants that helps to gently brighten and smooth my skin and to protect my skin against free radical damage caused by the environment, which helps boost collagen production, filling in fine lines and wrinkles.

Here's how the room looked like when I went over!

Hovita brightening facial has a lot of benefits especially for me such as 

- the ability to lighten and reduce appearance of age-related and pigment discoloration,

- reduce melanin & even out skin complexion,

- fade away dark spots, stop pigmentation from its roots,

- improve the appearance of scars – both old and new

- stop inflammatory protease of the enzyme activity

This is really beneficial for me as I have a lot of acne scars and dull skin. I was worried initially because I have sensitive skin but the whole process only made my skin look and feel better. 

They started off w a cleansing process...

Followed by applying softener on my nose and lip mask...

A quick extraction to clear some of my clogged pores...

They then use this equipment that felt a little cooling 🤪 

A quick massage...

Followed by a 15-20mins of mask...

And vuala we are done! I dont kniw about you but I feel that my skin is brighter after the facial appointment and my red skin that was a little swollen and puffy became better too!

The whole trip was really fun and I felt really welcome because they were exceptionally friendly and helped explain everything before doing it which really made me feel better cause I was nervous 😬

I can't emphasise how important facials are during covid 19 season because wearing masks in a hot and humid country like Singapore gave me skin inflammation.. I have been struggling w red, swollen and itchy skin ever since we wete told to wear masks so facials are a "much needed solution" and I really hope whoever that suffered brand new acne and pimples or red and swollen cheeks like me will consider going for facials before its too late!! 😢😱

What I love about Printwich

I printed photos for my family and also photos of my loved ones.
The photos I printed were mainly selfies with my family, close friends as well as group photos of my churchmates. Not surprisingly, its been 3 years and the people in the photos are still in my life.
I really love the whole concept of having photos printed out because photos that are printed out can be kept safely unlike when its in your phone. you may say the photos are safe in there but what if you drop your phone and spoil it or you lose your phone by accident? What if you don't have back up?
My phone spoiled back when I was in Secondary 4. I thought I have back up in my laptop but no I was wrong. Dammit I cried because I was really insecure back then and the only photos I had in that phone were photos with my loved ones. I had photos with my grandma in there too. But by then I could not simply retake photos with her as she was already hospitalized and unable to talk to me let alone to smile for a selfie.
The photos I have printed out were either kept safely in my wallet, given to my friends w notes written on it or hung up as a form of display to reminisce the memories I have w my loved ones.

This time round, I printed 30 photos of my bf and I so that we can look back at them in the future to have a good laugh because all the photos were taken on different occasions.
To me, printing photos you really cherish is really good as you can look back at it in the future. You may say you prefer having it in your phones but lets be honest. What if you lose your phone and don't have any back up? 🤙
